STEM and STEM Education Internship – Summer 2018
The Christa McAuliffe Center is searching for energetic and enthusiastic FSU undergraduate student interns who would like to spend 12 weeks this summer as part of the McAuliffe Center STEM education team. Assignments include working with McAuliffe Center staff to research NASA education resources related to Astronomy and Astrophysics for integration into a wide range of McAuliffe Center programs, and co-facilitating STEM education program for Framingham Public School students that both educates and inspires further interest in STEM and learning. Paid training is provided.
• Bachelor’s Degree in progress – required
• Course work in STEM-related disciplines – required
• Course work in astronomy or astrophysics – preferable
• Demonstrated interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
• Strong personal interest in Astrophysics and willingness to learn more
STEM Education Intern Fall 2018
Facilitate education program for K-12 school students that contain accurate and relevant STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) principles and concepts in a way that both educates and inspires further interest in STEM and learning. The Intern is expected to facilitate Challenger Learning Center activities at the McAuliffe Center for Integrated Science Learning.

Website Designer Intern: Support McAuliffe Center staff in website management.
Graphic Design Intern: design flyers and brochures. (comm. arts, arts, others)
FSU Community Outreach Intern: communication, content focus (science communication, communication, English, science, social science, education, others)
Museum Exhibit Intern: development of interactive exhibits for the McAuliffe Center (STEM, education, museum studies, art, others)
Planetarium Intern: support public planetarium shows and other events (CS, science, education, others)
