Community Stargazing and Webb Update

Outside in O’Connor Lot by Maynard Road

Participants of all ages are invited to join us for stargazing and a James Webb Space Telescope update!

Outside in the O’Connor Parking Lot, use telescopes to observe the Moon and Jupiter while McAuliffe Center staff are available to answer your questions about telescopes and our Universe. Warm up inside the Center and get updated on James Webb Space Telescope’s journey through space following its successful launch and deployment!


Important Information:

  • Due to inclement weather / conditions inconducive for observing, we are hoping to hold this event on Tuesday, February 8 from 5:30PM - 7:30PM.

  • Parking will be available in the Adams Road, Maynard Road, and Salem End Road Parking Lots. Once parked, follow the signs to the McAuliffe Center.

  • Masks are required for all.
