Faculty from STEM and non-STEM disciplines are encouraged to take advantage of the FSU Planetarium  and Challenger Learning Center as resources for their courses. Our facilities are also available for student groups and organizations.

How to Book 

  • Submit a program request form (below) at least 4 weeks before the date of your intended visit.
  • Schedule a consultation with our staff (For planetarium: Mary MacDonald. For Challenger: Evan Pagliuca) before your visit – required for first-time visitors
  • Share your syllabus and other relevant course information


  • TIP: We have extensive availability weekdays after 2pm, the entire month of September, and K-12 school vacations (week of Presidents’ day in February and week of Patriot’s day in April).
