The Christa McAuliffe Center offers two exhibits that are open to the public during our monthly public planetarium programs: Chandra X-Ray Observatory and International Space Station Exhibit.
The Chandra X-Ray Observatory offers a glimpse into our universe through the Observatory’s detection of X-rays within galaxies, producing a spectacular gallery of photos.
The International Space Station(ISS) exhibit, sponsored by CASIS, allows for an interactive tour of the ISS, giving users the opportunity to explore the Station’s many parts.
We offer two videos below to introduce you to these two wonderful examples of space engineering.
