Mary has been teaching science in and out of the dome for almost 10 years. A Massachusetts girl through and through, Mary earned her Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy at UMass Amherst, and her Master’s in Education at UMass Boston. She has worked at the Museum of Science Boston as a planetarium educator, and spent several years teaching high school physics. In addition to her daily work with the school groups that visit the McAuliffe Center, Mary is responsible for the public programs offered monthly in the planetarium. When she’s not under the stars, you can find her dancing, cooking, or snuggled up with her cat and a good book.
