Ykaro RochaNASA UoL Summer 2017 Intern

I’ve always been fascinated by circuitry for as long as I can remember. Most people don’t really think about what makes their electronics tick, but I like wanted to understand the science behind the ‘magic’. While I still retain a passion for electrical engineering, I really became interested in the logical systems that govern computers. My work at the McAuliffe Center has me processing 3D models from NASA’s database to work with our array of 3d printers. I’m also working alongside our team to design a web app companion that enables our visitors to hear and see more about our exhibits right on their smartphones. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (ancient) books and hiking tall places.
